ZALF | Big See Product Design Award 2023
We are proud to announce that Alterna Magic Room, the innovative monobloc wardrobe room signed by the architect Roberto Gobbo for Zalf, has won the Big See Product Design Award 2023. An important recognition for a project that interprets the needs of contemporary life with versatility and fully represents the brand’s philosophy of «space-generating design».
Furniture becomes architecture and creates a new paradigm because, instead of taking up space, it now organises it.
Alterna SM003 monobloc wardrobe with an external corner module, doorway module and folding doors in talc white organises spaces by flexibly and do not require vertical partitions.
A vast range of interior fittings make it possible to tailor the inside to suit the user’s needs. There is also a vast range of external finishes including many colours and textures.
Alterna SM003 is part of SpaceMakers, a versatile system which plans spaces in different ways and is suitable for various types of homes.
The project was realised by a partnership between Zalf’s R&S centre and the architect Roberto Gobbo.
